"Where there's a will, there's a way"
I've always thought of this proverb to help me push through any challenge that has come my way over the years. With this help, I have managed to accomplish many of the goals I have set for myself.
In May 2022, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. I have attained many great skills during my time there and plan to continue furthering my knowledge, both on my own, and possibly through continued education.
About Me
I'm a computer engineering student and graduate from Arlington, Texas. I grew up having a fascination with video games, anime, music, computers, and electronics. At an early age, my brother showed me how to put together my first desktop computer. It was at this time that I began to have an increasing interest in computers and ultimately decided that I wanted to pursue that path as a career. My interest continued to increase because, not only did the topics interest me, but some of the computer science topics completely confused me. This caused me to want to learn more, and even today I continue to strive to learn more from my professors and my peers.
When I was in Jr. High school, I remember having a winter storm similar to the storm that we had here in Texas in 2020. Students had to remain home from school for about a week and during this week I had decided to learn something new. I took up learning graphic design and started using Adobe products to learn raster image editing, vector design, and animation. After years of practicing with design, I began to take on clients and have since taken many clients by doing freelance graphic design in many avenues including : Branding and Corporate Identity Design, CD Artwork, T-Shirt Designs, Print Layout Design, Website Design. After this, I began to venture into the software development side and began learning various programming practices.
Throughout my youth, I had a huge passion for video games as well. Many of the games intrigued me due to having huge story depth and great music. I began to be inspired by many of the composers in video games and eventually started attempting to compose music myself. This process along with being influenced by much of my father's favorite music growing up lead me to being interested in audio engineering, and audio synthesis. Producing music, audio design, and sound processing remain to be one of my favorite hobbies!
